Abstract: This research investigates the impact of adult education on entrepreneurial skills development. The study aimed to evaluate how adult education programs contribute to the acquisition and enhancement of entrepreneurial skills among adults. The objectives were to assess the effectiveness of adult education in fostering entrepreneurial competencies, to evaluate the impact on business start-up rates and success, and to identify the challenges and opportunities in integrating entrepreneurship education into adult learning. A survey research design was utilized to gather data from adult learners and entrepreneurship educators, as it provides a broad perspective on the effectiveness of entrepreneurship education. A sample size of 280 participants, including aspiring and current entrepreneurs, was selected to provide a comprehensive analysis. The purposive sampling technique was used to select individuals who have participated in entrepreneurial adult education programs. The case study was conducted in Edo, Nigeria, where there is significant interest in entrepreneurship development.
